We exist to empower young people.
We exist to empower young people especially those in underserved communities with the employability, innovation and entrepreneurship skills, opportunities, and support they need to build meaningful careers and create a better future.
By connecting talent with real job opportunities, fostering entrepreneurship, and making education accessible, we help individuals transform not just their own lives but also uplift their families and communities. At Ablestate, we believe that when young people thrive, entire communities grow stronger, more resilient, and more connected to the global economy.

The Story Behind Ablestate
David Wampamba
Founder & CEO
David discovered computers as a teenager in a local internet café, where he began teaching himself programming through online tutorials and hands-on experimentation. Over time, he developed skills in web development, software programming, computer repair, and teaching others — experiences that also strengthened his communication and problem-solving abilities. Growing up with limited resources shaped David’s understanding of the barriers many young people face in accessing education and opportunity. This became the driving force behind Able State. Originally focused on digital skills training, Able State evolved into a broader support model after recognizing that technical education alone was not enough. Today, the organization combines training with career development, device access, internships, and placement support to help young people build sustainable pathways out of poverty.
